You can find blocks and rolls for Pilates training in various versions at YOGISTAR. Our various Pilates rolls are also ideal for use in fascia training.

Find your Pilates block and your Pilates roll

Below we would like to give you a brief overview of our various tools from the Pilates rolls and Pilates blocks category. You can find out more in the respective product descriptions by clicking on the images above. The Pilates rolls can be used for various balance and stabilization exercises. Exercises to improve sensorimotor skills can also be carried out with the Pilates or fascia roll. The hard foam rolls can also be used to massage the fascia so that they are "unsticked". It's hard to believe that such a simple tool is so effective, but the hard foam rolls are really great.

Pilates Block raja
The Pilates Block Raja is made of sturdy foam and is rounded on one side. This makes it ideal for placing under the spine. Expand your Pilates training and refine your exercises with the versatile Pilates Block Raja. The Pilates Block Raja can also be used for yoga exercises. The foam of the Pilates Block offers a comfortable surface, but at the same time also offers absolutely reliable resilience. This material also makes the Pilates Block extremely lightweight, which you can transport easily - for example, if you want to take the block with you to the studio.

Since a Pilates block is used on both sides in many applications (under both hands or under both feet), it makes sense to purchase two blocks depending on your application preferences.

Pilates Wedge
With the Pilates wedge you can make many exercises easier or more efficient. Whether you want to protect your wrists by using the wedge as a base, whether you want support in the heel seat or whether you want to use the Pilates wedge to get deeper into the seated forward bend, for example - the possible uses are worthwhile. As you can see from the examples mentioned, the hard foam wedge is not only suitable for Pilates, but is also useful for yoga exercises. Just like the Pilates block, the Pilates wedge is a light and therefore easy to transport product. The stable foam is resilient and comfortable to handle.

Fascia/Pilates roll
This fascia & Pilates roller is our classic in this category and is available in a variety of colors. The 90cm long Pilates roller made of hard foam is recommended to anyone who is looking for such a tool for their Pilates workouts or for connective tissue and fascia massage.

Fascia/Pilates roll pro, blue or blue-marbled
This particularly high-quality fascia & Pilates roller is available in two different lengths: You can get it either in 45cm or 90cm.

Fascia/Pilates roll pink
Our pink Pilates roller is also available in two different lengths. Depending on your preferred use, the 45cm or 90cm version may be more practical for you.

Pilates roll blue
This slightly shorter Pilates roll (length 45 cm) consists of several layers of foam.

Pilates roll blue-yellow
Blue on the outside and with a yellow core, this Pilates foam roller not only looks good but is also great for training.

Pilates roll orange
The 45-centimeter roll from PILATESSTAR comes in bright orange.

Pilates roll black
This long Pilates roll made of polypropylene (not to be confused with Styrofoam!) is high quality and durable.

Make your Pilates training more varied with the help of Pilates rolls and Pilates blocks!

Diversity and variety are what make a good workout and are particularly beneficial when it comes to Pilates. Pilates tools and aids are very useful in order to be able to integrate a particularly wide variety of different exercises into your workout. Pilates blocks and Pilates rolls are also a great addition as they expand the range of possible exercises.

Pilates rolls are also suitable for fascia training

Apart from Pilates training, the Pilates foam roller can also be used to massage, detangle and regenerate the fascial structures of the connective tissue (which is why some of our Pilates rollers explicitly have the addition "fascia" in their name). Pilates rollers have recently become extremely popular, particularly because they can be used as part of targeted training for the fascia or for fascia massage. By the way: you may have seen it in the TV reports on the 2016 European Football Championship - the German national football team also uses fascia or Pilates rollers for their regeneration training to relieve tension from the muscles and massage the fascia. The fact that Pilates rollers are also used in the field of absolute professional sport shows their well-documented effectiveness.

Digression: What does fascia training actually mean?

There has been a real hype about fascia recently. Almost everyone has heard of it, but not everyone can imagine what it is. Why should I use a Pilates roller for fascia massage? What are fascia anyway and why should I unstick it? To sum it up very briefly and in a few words: fascia are the soft tissue components of the connective tissue (often people speak of fascia in the singular because this tissue is connected to form a whole) or, in a narrower definition, specifically the flat connective tissue structures. Lack of moisture and hardening, which can occur over time due to a lack of exercise or one-sided strain on the body, for example, can lead to pain and poor posture. It is therefore very helpful to work with the fascia in order to keep it supple and to regain its elasticity.
For a deeper understanding of fascia, you can refer to one of the numerous books on fascia or fascia training that are now available. There are also regular articles on the subject of fascia in the media: for example, the magazine YOGA AKTUELL had an informative basic article on fascia (issue 95) and various practice-oriented articles on the subject. Fascia is an interesting topic that is receiving more and more attention in training, and for good reason.
