Peppermint is a perennial medicinal and aromatic herb that prefers temperate climates. Peppermint can grow up to 1 metre high and has intensely fragrant leaves from which peppermint tea is prepared. Peppermint is used to flavour chocolates, cocktails, sweets and oral care products. In naturopathy, it is used for stomach, cold and muscle complaints.
