YOGISTAR secures a whole year of social yoga classes for people with mental illnesses

YOGISTAR supports the campaign "In mir ist wieder Licht" (There is light in me again) of the Hamburg-based association Yoga für Alle. The association has already been facilitating therapy-accompanying yoga classes in cooperation with state and social institutions since 2014.

Social yoga

Social yoga reaches people who are undergoing medical-therapeutic treatment for their mental illnesses. Yoga für alle e.V. works closely with outpatient social psychiatric services. But social yoga can also bring peace and calm after violence. With #YOGAHILFT, the association also offers social yoga for eating disorders, trauma, old-age poverty, mourning and for children in deprived areas.

YOGISTAR supports the fundraising campaign "In mir ist wieder Licht" so that the association can continue to offer social yoga for people with mental illness in 2021. Corona is doubly difficult for people with mental illness because counselling and group services are limited. With the support of this campaign, social yoga continues to reach many people. Thus, in 2021, seven courses of social yoga of 40 units each should be able to take place in the Hamburg area! We have already made one of them possible with our donation.
