Yoga is an art and philosophy of life that embraces the whole person and has long since found its way to the West. Many of today's well-known physical exercises, asanas, have their origins in Indian mythology. They are about "Durga's fight with the demon Mahaasura", "Visnu's sleep between the ages of the world", "Nataraja, the lord of dance", "Arjuna, the famous archer".
On this CD, Anna Trökes tells stories from the rich treasure of the yoga tradition and Indian wisdom culture. From her own experience as a yoga teacher, she knows that these stories, vividly and vividly told, can give direction and depth to yoga practice. At the same time, they speak to the eternal child in us, which loves to hear stories at any age and draws its lessons from their deep meaningfulness and wisdom.
Anna Trökes has been teaching Hatha Yoga in her own school since 1977. She is a trainer with the Berufsverband der Yogalehrenden in Deutschland e.V. (BDY) as well as with other European professional associations and private training schools. She has also made a name for herself as the author of numerous successful yoga books.
