Peace of My Heart by Krishna Das (2CDs)

The album 'Peace of My Heart' originally came out of a request from a yoga teacher who works with autistic children. She realised that playing the music of Krishna Das was therapeutically very helpful for the children, however the tempo changes were upsetting some children physically and emotionally. She longed for chants by Krishna Das, which were homogeneously received in this relationship. Thus, dispensing with the usual tempo changes known from classical temple kirtans, six new recordings were made with uniformly flowing pieces that can fully unfold their soothing effect. Krishna Das' singing seems fuller-toned and more intense than ever before and unfolds a profound emotional effect.
