YOGISTAR provides social yoga classes for people with mental illnesses for a whole year

YOGISTAR supports the campaign “There is light in me again” by the Hamburg association Yoga for All. Since 2014, the association has been offering yoga classes to accompany therapy in cooperation with state and social institutions.

Social Yoga

Social yoga reaches people who are receiving medical and therapeutic treatment for their mental illness. Yoga für alle eV works closely with providers of outpatient social psychiatric services. But social yoga can also provide peace and quiet after violence. With #YOGAHILFT, the association also offers social yoga for eating disorders, trauma, old-age poverty, grief and for children in troubled areas.

“There is light in me again”: #YOGAHELPS – even with depression & in times of Corona

YOGISTAR supports the fundraising campaign “There is light in me again” so that the association can continue to offer social yoga for people with mental illnesses in 2021. Corona is doubly difficult for people with mental illnesses because counseling and group offers are limited. With the support of this campaign, social yoga continues to reach many people. In 2021, seven social yoga courses of 40 units each will be able to take place in the Hamburg area! We have already made one of them possible with our donation.
