How thick should a Yoga mat be?
Most yoga mats are 4–6 mm thick—a good balance between cushioning and stability. Thinner mats (1–3 mm) offer more ground contact and balance stability and are suitable for travel; thicker mats (6 mm and up) are easier on the knees and joints, for example, for gentle styles or those with sensitive joints.

How do I clean my Yoga mat?
Many YOGISTAR, such as the yogimat® basic, are machine-washable—which is especially hygienic. For natural rubber and cork mats, simply wipe them down with a mild, natural yoga mat cleaner. This will keep your mat fresh and slip-resistant for the long term.
