Made from the bark of the cork oak, which is harvested every few years without cutting down the tree—a particularly sustainable, CO₂-sequestering raw material. Cork is naturally antibacterial and hygienic, feels warm and comfortable, and actually becomes even more grippy when slightly damp.
Natural rubber
Extracted from the latex of the rubber tree—a renewable resource. Natural rubber offers excellent grip and slip resistance even when wet, pleasantly elastic cushioning, and long-lasting durability. As a natural material, it is free of PVC and synthetic plasticizers.
Certified models (e.g., yogimat® sun): OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Test No. 2012OK0503 AITEX (Product Class I – Baby Products Standard), safe even when in contact with the skin.
