Terms and Conditions for the Partner Program for Yoga Instructors

We’re glad you’re here. To make sure everyone understands how the program works, we’ve summarized the most important points here. Please take a moment to read through them carefully—by signing up, you agree to these terms.

The provider of this program is YOGISTAR Vertriebs GmbH, Wendelins 1A, 87487 Wiggensbach, Germany, hereinafter referred to asYOGISTARor “we.” You can find the complete provider information in our legal notice.

1. Who can participate

Active yoga instructors are eligible to participate. Registration takes place via our partner portal at partner.yogistar.com.

We review every application and will approve your account afterward. Participation is not guaranteed—we reserve the right to reject an application without providing a reason.

You must be of legal age. Participation is personal and non-transferable. Only one account is allowed per person.

2. Your Personal Code

Once your account is activated, you’ll receive a personal discount code and a referral link.

Your students will receive a 10% discount on their order. Orders placed using your code or link will be attributed to you.

Books, magazines, and gift certificates are excluded from the discount.

Your code is intended for sharing with your students—for example, in class, via email, on your website, or through your own social media channels.

You are not permitted to publish your code on coupon and discount portals, couponing sites, deal forums, or similar platforms. Also prohibited are unsolicited promotional emails (spam) and paid search engine advertising targeting theYOGISTARbrand or similar spellings.

3. Your Commission

You’ll receive a 5% commission for every order you refer.

The calculation is based on the product value of the order after deducting any discounts, excluding shipping costs and taxes.

No commission is earned for:

• books, magazines, and gift certificates,
• your own orders using your own code or link,
• Orders that are canceled, revoked, or refunded,
• the portion of an order paid for with a gift card.

If an order that has already been credited is subsequently canceled or returned, the commission will be deducted again.

4. Approval and Payment

Your commission will be released 30 days after the order is placed through your referral. During this time, your students’ cancellation and return period is in effect.

Payments are made once a month as soon as your approved balance reaches at least €20. If it’s less than that, it will be carried over to the following month.

Payment will be issued as YOGISTAR, which you can redeem for your own purchases in our store. The gift card can be combined with your yoga teacher discount. Cash payment is not available.

You can view your current status at any time in your partner dashboard.

5. Taxes and Legal Obligations

The commission is compensation for your referral services. You are personally responsible for reporting this income for tax purposes—this also applies to gift card balances.

Depending on the scope of your business activities, additional obligations may arise (for example, related to business tax or sales tax laws). If in doubt, please consult your tax advisor. We are neither authorized nor able to provide any information on this matter.

6. How to Advertise

When applying, there are a few rules that protect both of us:

Label as advertising. If you share your code or link publicly—for example, on Instagram, YouTube, or your website—you must label it as advertising in accordance with applicable regulations. A clear label such as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored” in a prominent location is usually sufficient.

When describing products, stick to the facts. Please use only information from our official product descriptions and do not make any health-related claims (such as claims regarding the healing, relief, or prevention of ailments). Such statements are legally prohibited and may result in a cease-and-desist letter.

Do not act on our behalf. You are advertising as an independent partner. You are neither an employee of YOGISTAR nor authorized to make statements on our behalf. No employment, commercial agency, or corporate relationship is established.

Brand usage. You may use our logo and product images for promotional purposes within the scope of this program. Please do not alter them or use them in a way that gives the impression of your own YOGISTAR or an official representation. Personal websites or accounts withYOGISTARin the name are not permitted.

No misleading content. No false information regarding prices, availability, or terms and conditions.

7. Privacy Policy

To facilitate your participation, we process your registration and billing information. You can find details in our Privacy Policy.

You will not receive any personal data about your students. In your dashboard, you will see only summarized information about the orders placed through your platform.

8. Term, Termination, Changes

Participation is open-ended. You can end it at any time without notice—just send a quick message to partner@yogistar.com is sufficient. We, too, may terminate our participation with 14 days’ notice.

If you violate these terms—especially if you misuse the code—we may immediately suspend your account. Commissions from orders generated through misuse will not be paid.

Commissions that have already been approved will still be paid out even after the program ends, provided there is no evidence of misuse.

We may modify or terminate the program. We will notify you in advance via email of any changes to these terms or conditions. For orders already placed, the terms and conditions in effect at the time of the order always apply.

9. Final Provisions

German law applies. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
