Hammered copper carafe with mug, 1.1 litre

In traditional Indian medicine, Ayurveda, copper is said to have a balancing effect: Water stored in copper vessels takes on the qualities of the metal after a while and, according to Ayurvedic scriptures, balances the doshas. In India, vessels made of copper are known as "Tamra Jal".

Copper water is usually alkaline and therefore also balances the pH value in the body. Even the ancient yogis and sages supposedly drank copper water to protect themselves from illness. Copper also has an antibacterial, antioxidant and rejuvenating effect, cleanses the body of toxins and free radicals and has a stimulating effect on the brain.

This elegant copper water carafe has a capacity of 1.1 L. The copper carafe lid can be used as a drinking cup. The hammered look makes it a real eye-catcher! This is a sustainable carafe for eternity - it is made of the purest copper, for naturally alkaline water and good health!

Application:
Fill the carafe with water in the evening, leave it overnight and drink the water the next morning. From a scientific point of view, the water has absorbed pure copper during storage, an essential mineral for the body in this form.

Cleaning:
As the carafe is made of copper, it will naturally lose its lustre over time. To clean it, you will need a pinch of salt, vinegar or baking soda and a slice of lemon. Sprinkle the ingredients onto the slice of lemon and lightly rub the surface of your bottle with this mixture. The lemon and salt form a mixture that naturally removes the patina and restores the lustre of the copper. Rinse the carafe with water and allow it to dry thoroughly. The inside of the copper carafe will also patinate, but this has no effect on the quality of the water stored in the carafe. However, the carafe is not dishwasher safe!
