Description
The album 'Peace of My Heart' was originally created in response to a request from a yoga teacher who works with autistic children. She realised that playing Krishna Das' music was very therapeutically helpful for the children, but the tempo changes threw some children off balance physically and emotionally. She longed for chants by Krishna Das that were recorded homogeneously in this respect. Thus, by dispensing with the usual tempo changes that are familiar from classic temple kirtans, six new recordings were created with uniformly flowing pieces that can fully develop their calming effect. Krishna Das's singing is fuller and more intense than ever before and has a profound emotional effect.
